Asad's musical score for "Celebrate" a short film

"Every ending has a beginning. Every beginning has an ending. In between we are left with the fine residue of life slipping through our fingers faster than our shadow. Celebrate life."

Asad Qizilbash of the Canadian based World Fusion band "Swaras" provided the musical score for a short film "Celebrate", shot in Germany by the famous director/producer/writer Noontay. The score includes the concept, direction including some Alaap like vocals. Celebrate is currently being sent to the Moscow Film Festival and will soon makes its way to German and Canadian film festivals as well. Since this is going be a year-end blog for koolmuzone. I conducted a small survey and asked some of the singers and musicians two questions:

Q1 How was your year 2009 in terms of your music for you?
Q2 What do you expect from year 2010 in terms of your music?
